Yes, we do offer experience session to kids willing to join our academy. Please fill in the BOOK A TRYOUT form or contact the center of interest with this inquiry and we can arrange an appropriate session for your child to attend.

We believe in continous growth and development, we believe there is always more to learn and no one can ever acquire “all the skills”. We believe they player will greatly benefit from the way our curriculum is designed keeping in mind the DC way of training which focuses on the the technical and tactical ability of the player as well as learn to play in different adverse situations. The training group will also be assigned based on the skill level, hence the training intensity will be maintained throughout. Of course the players who are well versed with the basics, will be able to polish their technical skills but all players will be able to acquire many other soft skills and values and will be given plenty opportunities to compete in tournamnets etc – use DC junior leagueetc as exmaples here ). Our constant mentoring and regular evaluation of players by our coaches will help the player to keep a track of his/her development and growth.

The entire design of the curriculum will help the player grow. Since the DC methodology is consistent, all the players in our academy spend atleast 70 mins on different skills, namely – batting, bowling, fielding/ wicket keeping and fitness. Since our curriculum helps players to enhance their specific skills, we have deliberately designed an exclusive curriculum to ensure personalized attention for the players. “When we talk about growth as conscient sports, we keep in mind the overall growth and development of the child. Growth in tehcnical skills, of course we have an extensive tailor made curriculum for that, but are focus on instilling values and on personality development throughout is what makes our setup different from any other”

At the first training week, the players are bifurcated in accordance to their age categories. From there on, the players are assessed and grouped based on their skill level and technical abilities to achieve the best player development outcomes.

At Delhi Capital Cricket Academy, the coach to player ratio is 1:20, i.e., at a time,a coach will work hands on with 20 players in each session.

Girls and boys between the ages of 5 to 20 are welcomed to enroll in our academy.

Our players are exposed to a number of opportunities from the academy. Firstly, they get to participate in the DC Junior League which is an exclusive tournament in an IPL format for junior age groups organised by Delhi Capitals in which players get a taste of professional-style cricket at a junior level. Apart from that, we provide our players with twice a month match experience in a professional setup and large scale domestic exposure.

As an academy we do have advanced squads for which the players are selected based only on their skill level. The players in the elite squad go on to represent the academy at all the tournaments. However, every player gets the opportunity to play in advanced tournaments for the academy.

No, unfortunately, at Delhi Capital Cricket Academy we do not run short-term programmes; it is an annual programme. However, we offer three different payment plan: you can choose any plan based on your convenience such as lump-sum payment or monthly EMIs.

We conduct our matchdays once every two weeks which is our unique/salient feature. As these matches are conducted within fixed time periods, it helps the players in implementing their skills which they obtained during the training. Regular exposure to such matches is what makes us different from the other academies.

Yes, You can absolutely enroll your girl child, we train girls & boys in our academy between the age of 5 -20 years.
We already have a lot of girls training at our venues.

No, there is no fee for the experience session.

The parents are welcomed to stay near the field and watch their children sweating it out on the field. A designated parents’ area is set up at all our centres to give the parents a delightful view of the ongoing training sessions and matches.

It is our aim for every child to achieve success at her/his individual as well as team level. Our coaching staff is specifically trained to pass on how Delhi Capital players are trained. Our specially designed coaching programs help improve the skill levels of all children.

As an academy, we have our own systems & format where we keep track of a player’s progress and it is centrally controlled by DC. Since the information is confidential, we do not make it public. But we do provide semesterly reports to track an individual’s progress as we firmly believe that sharing the progress report in person with the child in the parent’s presence and implementing the changes practically on the field would be more influential.

No, we do not provide any pick and drop facility. But we can guide you about a cab sharing facility with other players in your locality.

We do not provide refunds in such a scenario. But why do you think that the child will lose interest? With our curriculum, which gives an equal emphasis on the child’s personality development and fitness apart from the sport, he will be completely engaged and be full of joy.
